About us

Notre Dame’s chapter of Global Zero was founded in the spring of 2013. Our chapter’s goals are as follows:

  1. Education: We want to speak with knowledge on the issues surrounding nuclear policy. We will inform ourselves about nuclear policy through research, debates, lectures, documentaries, conferences and other avenues.
  2. Awareness: We want to be a voice of activism and change. We will raise awareness, both on campus and beyond, regarding the dangers of nuclear weapons and the Global Zero movement through actions, fundraisers, and media.
  3. Relationships: We want to build relationships with the future nuclear policy leaders of tomorrow and embody a multilateral movement. We will reach out to chapters both nationally and internationally through communication and collaborative projects.

Global Zero Notre Dame meets every Tuesday night at 8 pm, in room B034 of Gheddes Hall.
