Notre Dame’s chapter of Global Zero was founded in the spring of 2013. Our chapter’s goals are as follows:
- Education: We want to speak with knowledge on the issues surrounding nuclear policy. We will inform ourselves about nuclear policy through research, debates, lectures, documentaries, conferences and other avenues.
- Awareness: We want to be a voice of activism and change. We will raise awareness, both on campus and beyond, regarding the dangers of nuclear weapons and the Global Zero movement through actions, fundraisers, and media.
- Relationships: We want to build relationships with the future nuclear policy leaders of tomorrow and embody a multilateral movement. We will reach out to chapters both nationally and internationally through communication and collaborative projects.
Global Zero Notre Dame meets every Tuesday night at 8 pm, in room B034 of Gheddes Hall.
